Though I thoroughly hated the new Daylight Savings Time on Monday morning, I really enjoyed being able to walk out of work while the sun was still shining. Rhya and I celebrated by taking Lindy and the dogs to the park. Lindy loved the swings and the slide, but I think we’re going to have to find a different park next time, because we were the only people there.
As you can see, Charlie and his guys have been crazy busy knocking out the framing of this house. We went over on Friday, but it was pouring. I couldn’t get any pictures then (but that didn’t stop Charlie from continuing to work). However, Sunday was gorgeous, and I spent quite a bit of time walking around and through the house, though I had to employ some climbing maneuvers to get on the second floor with no ladder and no stairs.
Totally awesome.
I’m writing this late, and there has been quite a bit of progress since these pictures were taken. But, as of last Sunday (3/4) quite a bit of work had been done on the second floor. What you’re seeing in this picture is the view out of the guest room on the front of the house.
I’m going to take pictures tonight, and I’ll put them up this weekend.

With the completion of our new construction getting closer and closer, Rhya and I have decided that now is the perfect time to put our current home on the market. We’ve listed our home on Owners.com, Google Base, Knooble, and Craigslist so far. I’m going to create a page on this site to aggregate virtually all of the information that I have on the house. If you know anyone that is looking for a starter home in Peoria, I think this is a great house, and it is definitely priced to move!

Rhya and I got to walk through the first floor of our new home last weekend. It’s amazing how different it is to look at plans as compared to actually standing in the space. It was totally awesome, and I can’t believe how fast it is going up. This picture is a bit old. They’ve already working on the second floor interior walls. I should have more pictures on Sunday
