Lindy turns 2!
Lindy Turned 2 last Friday, and we had our immediate families over to celebrate. She was really into it, and I think one more day of presents just about blew her mind. Rhya made pulled pork sandwiches from our neighbor’s recipe, which was awesome, and Lindy picked out a “Hello Kitty” theme for the cake and decorations.
Keeping with tradition, here is a month-by-month slideshow of Lindy’s second year, and her life so far.
End of the year
There are a LOT of posts that I missed at the end of last year, and each thing is too big to just gloss over in one big post. Plus, I’ve got Matt’s New Year’s Resolutions, and our 2008 Family Predictions on the way. 1 Resolution is to write on this site at least once a week. More’s coming, I promise!

Halloween Gymnastics
Lindy has been having a great time at gymnastics. Last week, they let her dress up in her Dorothy gear.
Tonight, I work on teaching her to clap her heels together.

traffic school…it’s a family affair. I can’t believe Rhya, Dad, and I all had to go to traffic school on the same night. Rhya and I were speed demons, and Dad rocked the illegal U-turn. Best part of the class is when the instructor said that we need to develop good driving habits to pass on to our children.

The New TV
Rhya and I broke down and got a new TV recently, transforming that corner of the room into something a notch more respectable than the dorm room that it looked like before, with the ol’ 27 incher.
And yes, it mostly plays Diego…
Grimbergen
I’m heading to Grimbergen (near Brussels, Belgium) on Oct 6th for work. I’ve never been to Belgium, so I’m excited, but I’ve heard that Brussels is one of the worst places to drive. Awesome.
Penn State Vs Illinois
Our new neighbors have season tickets to Illinois football, and Rhya and I are going with them to the PSU vs. UofI game on the 29th! It will be all I can do not to wear PSU gear and a JoePa mask, but he’s not a big fan of giving up his tickets to those that root for other teams, so I’ll try to be good.

I’m going to pretend that it hasn’t been like 3 months since I posted last
Rhya took Lindy to Tanner’s Orchard a couple of weeks ago with a friend of ours. Lindy got a big kick out of holding Rhya’s putter and setting her ball up for her. As you can tell in this picture…she’s pretty much all kid now. I don’t see any baby left.
